Getting started

Your first Mission review in Claude

Add Mission, Kaboodle’s Agent Partner for everyday serious work, to Claude once. Then bring it in whenever the work matters. Claude stays in charge: Mission advises, and Claude decides what to do with the advice.

What you need first

  • A Kaboodle invitation.
  • A Claude account that can add custom connectors. Anthropic decides which plans include them; on Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for you.

Kaboodle is invite-only for now. We are inviting people in small groups from the early access list. Join the early access list · Sign in

Before you connect

  1. Sign in to Kaboodle once. If this is your first sign-in, use the username and temporary password from your invitation; you will be asked to choose a new password. Sign in
  2. Accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Review and accept

Connect Mission to Claude

  1. Step 1: Open Connectors in Claude

In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.

  2. Step 2: Add a custom connector

Choose “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”. Give it a name you will recognise, such as Kaboodle Mission.

  3. Step 3: Paste the Mission address

Paste the address below as the server URL. Leave the optional OAuth client fields empty: Kaboodle registers Claude automatically.

    Mission server URL

    https://mission.mcp.kaboodleai.com/

  4. Step 4: Sign in with your Kaboodle account

Claude opens a Kaboodle sign-in window. Use the same username and password you use on this site, then approve access. There is no separate password for the connector.

  5. Step 5: Start a new conversation

Kaboodle’s tools are available in conversations you start after connecting.

The approval screen lists permissions that begin with “cadence/”. That is expected: it is Kaboodle’s internal name for this service.

Steps checked against Anthropic’s custom connector guide on 3 October 2026. Claude’s menus can change; if a name differs, look for Connectors.

Try it

In a new conversation, send Claude something like this:

Example request

Write a short plan for moving my team’s shared spreadsheet into a database. Before you finish, use Kaboodle to get a second opinion on the plan, then tell me what you changed and why.

What a working review looks like

  • Claude tells you it is asking Kaboodle for a review, and shows the tool call.
  • The review comes back as advice from independent reviewers. Claude decides what to use, and tells you.
  • Nothing is approved or blocked by Kaboodle. If Claude disagrees with a finding, it can say so and carry on.

If something goes wrong

The sign-in window closes or never finishes
Allow pop-ups for claude.ai and try again in the same browser. If you were asked to choose a new password, finish that first.
Claude says you need to accept the Terms of Service
Open www.kaboodleai.com/legal, sign in, and accept the current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then ask Claude again. If the page says you have already accepted, just go back to Claude and ask again; if it still refuses, email info@kaboodleai.com.
Claude says your account is not set up or does not have access
Your invitation may not be active yet, or you signed in with a different account. Email info@kaboodleai.com and tell us the username you used.
Claude says your usage limit has been reached
Claude will pass on Kaboodle’s message, which says when your allowance resets or when your access period ends. Your account is unaffected. If you need more, email info@kaboodleai.com.
The connector is added but Claude never uses it
Start a new conversation, check the connector is switched on for that conversation, and ask for a Kaboodle review by name.
Your temporary password has expired
Temporary passwords last 7 days. Email info@kaboodleai.com and we will send a new one.

Still stuck? Email info@kaboodleai.com with what you tried and what Claude said. Never send us your password.

Using ChatGPT?

Mission also works with ChatGPT through developer mode. After you sign in, the connection guide for ChatGPT is under How to connect.
